Vinod Kulhari

A seasoned business executive with more than 20 years of real estate experience, Vinod has been raising private capital for commercial and residential real estate since 1995. His diverse expertise includes private capital formation, small business investment, management, consulting, operations, and analysis.

Vinod earned a dual Masters’ degree in business administration and accounting, following which he served as Chief Financial Officer for the Florida Department of Transportation (DOT) for nine years, during which time he oversaw the accounting, auditing, and management of the State’s $400 million transportation budget. He went on to co-found FGF Group, LLC, an investment firm that completed hundreds of residential and commercial transactions during a highly turbulent market. Vino identified opportunities in commercial real estate for FGF, also providing management and commercial brokerage services to other development groups. Three years later, he founded Terra Equity Group, LLC.

In the mid-2000s, Vino became more deeply involved in commercial real estate, acquiring several multifamily and retail properties in the southeastern United States. Since then, he has acquired and managed 800 doors in the multifamily properties category, and approximately one million square feet of retail centers, many of which were syndicated.

Having gained unparalleled insight into both commercial and multifamily markets though this experience, Vino offers expertise in complex deal structuring, analysis, and evaluation of investment opportunities, resulting in a repeatable and low-risk approach. His problem-solving and team-building skills have supported Terra Equity Group in building an extensive real estate network. Recent notable projects include a 184-unit class B property and a 140-unit class C multifamily development in the Tampa area, as well as a 98,000 square foot retail center in Pensacola, Florida.
